Collaborative Family Law

In collaborative divorce, each party is still represented by a lawyer, but the spouses and attorneys sign an agreement not to litigate. By removing the specter of a courtroom battle, both sides can commit to working out an acceptable settlement covering property, custody and visitation, child support, and related issues. Collaborative family law often includes child psychologists, counselors, and other professionals to help settle family disputes and arrive at a resolution that addresses everyone's interests.
