A friend of mine referred Attorney John Pfister and another attorney in the same area to me. I called the other attorney’s office first to schedule a consultation. I was told that the attorney’s assistant would discuss the case with me. Then I called Mr. John’s office, I was told that Mr. John would conduct the consultation with me. I walked in the law firm with uncertainty and full of worries. John patiently listened to my situation, took notes, asked questions, and gave me his suggestions if he would take my divorce case. Then I started the journey with John and his assistant Cathy Goecks. After 5 months, I got my peace back. During the process, John, Cathy, and their office staff responded to my emails and phone calls in a timely and professional manner. They explained steps and expectations regarding the process and gave me encouragement as well. They were also flexible by adjusting the strategies based on the progress of my case to achieve my best interest. Mr. John was also very sharp on reaching a deal without further complications in the courtroom. Lastly, the office’s billing is transparent and honest. I received my refund of the retainer timely once the case was finalized. I would highly recommend Mr. John to represent your case.

I hired John to take on my modification of child custody/divorce decree. John and his paralegal Cathy were amazing to work with. John is an artist in the courtroom and Cathy is phenomenal to work with. Cathy handles most of the day-to-day dialogue and I felt like I had John’s ear at all times through Cathy. I had a nightmare experience with previous lawyers and was beyond pleased with my experience with John. I will not turn anywhere else in the future if I need future counsel and will retain John. I have retained Pfister Law Firm to assist in my child custody case that is a bit of a complicated case. I met with John Pfister twice for consultations before retaining the firm. John helped me to understand my out-of-state order and advised what I needed to do to complete my plan. He was very kind but also has the shark mentality. At the time of the consultations, I did not meet any of the other lawyers, but when it came time to need a lawyer, I reached back out and was paired with Philip and Dakota. I will be the first to admit this is not my first rodeo in child custody drama, and I have a bit of lawyer PTSD. So, I over-Google and over-panic. If you are like me and reading this review, email Pfister Family Law for a consultation. They will work hard for you and try to make it so you do not feel the need to Google/go into panic mode. Philip is a bit stern, but you can certainly tell he knows the laws and will fight for his client. I was a bit nervous about meeting with Dakota since I have only ever had male attorneys, but she is wonderful. She is also very knowledgeable and has my children’s best interest as the top priority. This trio is definitely a great team. I am hopeful for this process and promise to stay off Google and let them do their job. I would recommend this firm to other single mothers that are looking for a firm to keep their children’s best interests the priority. Once my case is finalized, I will be sure to update this review to add the results and feedback.
