Cathy graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Cathy has been with Pfister Family Law since 2008 and is a board-certified family law paralegal, a distinction that less than one percent of paralegals in the State of Texas hold. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas Paralegal Division and the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists, a professional organization for board certified family law attorneys and board-certified family law paralegals. Cathy understands both the professional and the personal side of family law matters and strives to combine that knowledge to be a strong advocate for clients and to provide them the best possible representation. Having personally experienced family law matters in her own life, Cathy understands firsthand the emotions and difficulties that clients face and uses that experience to provide compassion and care during clients’ most difficult times.
Cathy grew up an Army brat, so moved around a good bit, but considers San Antonio her hometown, as that is where her family spent the majority of her childhood. She has 3 sons who are grown, so her and her husband, CJ, are empty nesters. Cathy and her husband love to travel, spend time with family and friends, and watch college sports, especially Aggie football. They can often be found in College Station on any given fall Saturday, yelling for the Aggies.
