About
Dakota Mayr is an associate attorney at Pfister Family Law. She has been an integral part of the PFL team for several years, contributing to all aspects of family law cases — from drafting and preparing arguments to representing clients in court.
Her blend of fierce competitiveness and genuine compassion gives her a unique advantage in advocating for her clients and achieving the best possible outcomes.
A graduate of the University of North Texas Dallas College of Law, Dakota served as Vice President of the Women in Law Student Society and as Junior Representative for TYLA. She also dedicated over 300 hours in the university’s legal clinic, helping indigent families gain access to fair and equitable justice.
Dakota earned her undergraduate degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, where she competed as a collegiate pole vaulter. Her experience as a student-athlete sharpened her resilience and composure under pressure — qualities that serve her clients well in complex and emotionally charged family law matters.
Understanding how challenging family law cases can be, Dakota is deeply committed to standing by her clients through life’s most difficult moments. “Life can take unexpected turns when it comes to family matters. My goal is to approach every case with the same compassion and determination as if I were fighting for my own family.”
